In recognition of their years of service to cabin owners and NFH, both on a local and national level, a Lifetime Membership was given to Phil and Joan Oakes of Loomis, California.

NFH Awards & Honors

NFH LogoThe Outstanding Tract Association Award is given to a tract in recognition of actions to foster good will, understanding, and innovative and constructive partnerships between permit holders and government agencies.  The Outstanding Tract Newsletter Award is for production of exemplary newsletters that succeed in clarifying the association’s purposes, inform and educate members and foster a sense of community and cooperation. 

The Recreation Advocate Of The Year Award is given to a U.S. Forest Service employee in recognition of their positive role in dealing and interacting with recreation residence permittees. 

The Outstanding Volunteer Award is given to an NFH volunteer at the national level in recognition of outstanding and continued service that has significantly contributed to the National Forest Homeowners.

The Outstanding Leadership Award recognizes an individual at the national level who has demonstrated outstanding leadership skills in making significant contributions to the achievement of the National Forest Homeowners Mission.
