The US Forest Service is currently undergoing plan revisions throughout the nation.
Each region and district is undertaking this 4 year process. The process involves involves three distinct phases: 1) assessment of the current conditions and trends of forest resources and multiple uses, 2) development of a revised plan, and 3) monitoring and implementation of the final approved plan. Contact your district about the status of their planning process and get involved. Your participation can keep our recreation residence program healthy and your relationship with the forest positive and productive.
