To date none of the emails of voice mails have been returned. Is this typical Forest Service Behaviour?

The Forest Service contact emailed our realtor asking about our contact information, but when I returned email and left voice mails that day, no response. It's frustrating to have this lack of communication.

My experience is that they, like us all, can get backed up and sometimes seasonally stretched thin - so I have learned patience and over communication is the best approach, especially if you think the topic is high value.

If it is something you feel is important, a paper trail through the USPS is probably the best. You are wanting to know that they have received your correspondence AND because they have a file on the lease, the correspondence will most likely find it way there.

He indicated that there was indeed a backup and we had a nice conversation. Thanks so much for your kind reply.
