<description><![CDATA[<p><span style="caret-color: #050505; color: #050505; font-family: system-ui, -apple-system, BlinkMacSystemFont, '.SFNSText-Regular', sans-serif; font-size: 15px; background-color: #ffffff;">Just received our renewed cabin insurance policy from Great Lakes and there is a new exclusion that has been added to the policy that states, “</span><span style="font-family: system-ui, -apple-system, BlinkMacSystemFont, '.SFNSText-Regular', sans-serif; caret-color: #050505; color: #050505; font-size: 15px;"><b>We do not insure for any loss incurred while the described dwelling, whether it is intended for occupancy or not, is unoccupied for more than 60 consecutive days.</b></span><span style="background-color: #ffffff;"><span style="color: #050505;"><span style="caret-color: #050505; font-size: 15px;">” Having someone check on the house will, apparently, reset the 60 day clock, according to our insurance agent that checked with the carrier - waiting for clarification as to whether a drive by is sufficient or someone needs to actually enter the cabin as well as find out how exactly I need to document all of this in order to prove it to the insurance company in case there were any issues.</span></span></span></p><p><span style="background-color: #ffffff;"><span style="color: #050505;"><span style="caret-color: #050505; font-size: 15px;">Also now excluding any damages etc. from fungus, spores, mold, dry rot, wet rot, rust, mildew, mushroom, toadstool, smut</span></span></span></p><p><br style="caret-color: #050505; color: #050505; font-family: system-ui, -apple-system, BlinkMacSystemFont, '.SFNSText-Regular', sans-serif; font-size: 15px;" /><span style="caret-color: #050505; color: #050505; font-family: system-ui, -apple-system, BlinkMacSystemFont, '.SFNSText-Regular', sans-serif; font-size: 15px; background-color: #ffffff;">And ours also now excludes a whole littany of different dog breeds (not unusual I know but this was added in for this year).</span></p><p><span style="caret-color: #050505; color: #050505; font-family: system-ui, -apple-system, BlinkMacSystemFont, '.SFNSText-Regular', sans-serif; font-size: 15px; background-color: #ffffff;">&nbsp;</span></p><p><span style="caret-color: #050505; color: #050505; font-family: system-ui, -apple-system, BlinkMacSystemFont, '.SFNSText-Regular', sans-serif; font-size: 15px; background-color: #ffffff;">I sent a quote request to the NFH insurance&nbsp;</span><span style="color: #050505;"><span style="caret-color: #050505; font-size: 15px;">company and never heard back.</span></span></p>]]></description>
