Dry, off grid recreation cabin located within Lake Kachess campground. The cabin is 404 sqft with a living area, kitchenette, and sleeping loft. Updates have been recently completed and new appliances will be fully installed this week : Drolet Outback Chef wood stove, and a Vermont Casting Aspen stove insert (both are pictured). An adjacent storage building on the property can double as a dry outhouse, shower room. The lot includes a fire pit and ample private space for outdoor living. A private access pathway down to Thetis creek runs behind the cabin and it is walking distance to the lake and campground day use areas. The cabin can be accessed May-November via Kachess Lake rd.; a key gives you private access to the campground during the off-season. The last mile and a half is groomed snowmobile, snowshoe, or cross country skiing annually by the state of Washington from Dec.-April. The cabin is accessible by these winter means until the snow fully melts off.
It is a beautiful cabin in a serene and easy-to-access location with cell reception and so many recreational opportunities. Unfortunately, we just don't use it as often as we had hoped.
