I'm a new owner in Region 5 of California. We are looking to acquire cabin insurance and filled out the request form via ARM but haven't heard back yet. We've also been trying to call the number listed to ask a few questions but haven't had anyone return our calls.

 

Just curious if anyone knows the wait times with ARM these days, or if you have recommendations for other insurance brokers to contact for the region.

I sent in the request form earlier this year and never heard back. I followed up with another email a few weeks later and then received a call from a not-so-friendly agent. Bottom line is the quote was astronomical. I have an insurance agent out of Arizona (that's where my cabin is) that I subsequently used and the rate he got me was great. I did bundle everytihing with him. I am not familiar with how it all works (meaning if he can help you in CA) but I will give you his contact and you can ask him - he was gotten a lot of people up here in the mountains where I am insurance for a whole lot cheaper than they were quoted or that their new premiums had gone up to.
