The Senate Energy & Natural Resources Committee budget reconciliation bill text released June 11 calls for the sale of millions of acres of Forest Service and BLM land. Is there any anticipated impact to cabin owners on Forest Service leases? While it might be nice to be able to purchase our leased land, I worry about how something like that might be structured given the amount of investment we have already put into our cabins.

Within the last hour you should have received a Call to Action issued by NFH that further explains what is in the Senate Budget Reconciliation Bill and asks you to contact your Senator and oppose the sale of public lands.

I have not received the Call to Action. There is some momentum among the members of the Mount Hood Forest owners. It would be great to see what is in the Call for Action.
