8/27/16 - Camp Sherman, OR Metolius River Cabins. The Camp Sherman Historical Society will mark the centennial of the first leases signed with Forest Service that allowed the building of the familiar cabins along the Metolius River in an event on August 27.

The public is invited to join in. Starts at the Camp Sherman Store at 1 p.m., where speakers will share information. A booklet with histories of about 30 cabins near the Camp Sherman Store will be available for the walking tour.
