Doug Gann, Leavenworth WA

Lake Wenatchee, WA; Okanogan-Wenatchee NF

Family owned cabin 15 years; 15-year NFH Member

Qualifications and ExperienceMy wife Susan and I live in Leavenworth, WA and have three adult children and two grandchildren. I retired from Cisco Systems, Inc. in 2011 after working 35 years in the high technology field, mostly in sales leadership roles.

My first cabin leadership role was serving for 6 years as President of the Lake Wenatchee Summerhome Association.  My national experience began in 2009 when I joined the C2 Steering Committee which resulted in the passage of the CFA. First elected to the NFH Board in 2012, I’ve served 5 years as a Director, 1 year as Vice President, and the last 2 years as President. I’ve also served on a number of NFH committees, including a stint as the Technology Committee chair. Over the last decade, I’ve been a frequent speaker at NFH events on a variety of topics. I’ve also made a number of trips to Washington D.C. to meet with USFS leadership and members of Congress, lobbying on behalf of cabin owners everywhere.

The success of this unique cabin program we cherish requires cabin owners willing to contribute by volunteering. My experience demonstrates my commitment to NFH and the cabin program. Our current board is working hard on a number of initiatives to provide more value to our members, as we continue our work toward securing the future of this program. I would like to continue leading this effort as President for another two years. I would appreciate your vote and will be honored to serve if elected.

Thank You
