Tracy Kremer, Lands Special Uses Program Manager for USFS Pacific Northwest Region, announced she'd be retiring in February next year and encouraged permit holders to stay informed and engaged.

Kevin Orth has a cabin on the Mount Baker-Snoqualmie National Forest in Washington and serves as a Director on the NFH Board and as President of the White River Recreation Association. He presented on Wildfire Preparation.

Alexandra "Allie" Wenzl is a Historian and the Heritage Program Manager for the USFS Pacific Northwest Region. Cabins are much more than historic buildings, they are part of a historic recreation program.

NFH President Doug Gann presented updates and announcements regarding new member benefits. Insurance for cabin owners through ARM, Inc as well as a new Ask the Community forum. (check it out!)

2019 NFH Fall Forum included:

  • Networking with other cabin owners.
  • Presentations on relevant topics such as historic cabins, how to prepare for
    a wildfire, NFH resources such as insurance and more.
